Things to know-----

Merit Badges-Some  badges can be earned on your own using the Troop Merit badge books or Merit Badge booklets found at Meritbadge.org. Approval must be given by a unit leader (Mr Driscoll or Mr.Payette) at which time a  Troop Merit Badge counselor will be recommended.  Scouts should consider taking age appropriate badges.

Troop 93 Counselors Include: Mr. Aquitante, Mr. Driscoll,  Mr. McNatt, & Mr. Payette       http://www.usscouts.org/mb/mbbooks.asp

Scout Accounts-The Treasurer maintains an individual scout account for all scouts. Money earned through fundraisers will go into this account and can be used for camping, scouting events, Class B uniforms orders, etc. You may deposit money into this account anytime by giving it to Mrs. So.

Weather Cancellations-Troop 93 follows the Montville school schedule. When there is no school or a  weather closing, there is no Troop Meeting unless otherwise noted on this site.

Monthly Camping- Scouts should confirm their availability if signing up for a camping trip. The Troop incurs a cost for camp sites and food, therefore if you cancel after we shop for food your account will be charged the appropriate fee. It is extremely important that you pay attention to the details for these trips by looking at the website and/or asking questions BEFORE we camp. A lot of work goes into planning events, your cooperation is appreciated.
